The Kieffer Family: 11 Months

Yes, that's right, Adam turned 11 months this past week! One year is right around the corner, and my baby isn't going to be much of a baby anymore. His little mischievous smile in the picture captures his little personality so well. It is so fun to watch as his personality develops and grows every day. It is amazing to me how similar, and yet, how very different, him and Owen are.

A big accomplishment for us recently is learning to go down the stairs SAFELY. He, of course, loves crawling up them, and we still have to watch him very closely, but at least now he knows to turn around when he gets to the top. He loves to dance, play with cars and balls, and try to do just about anything that Owen is doing. He is still a little jabber box...constantly putting in his two cents (and I think this is foreshadowing years to come). He continues to be an awesome sleeper (recently 12 to 13 hours...YEAH!!!!) and eater.

One of the most exciting things that Adam has been up to these days is walking!! He takes several steps now, though he is still clumsy as ever and falls often. Crawling is definitley still the preferred method of transportation, and I have to admit I am thankful for this right now...I have a hard enough time as it is keeping him in one place :)
