New Photo Editing Program

For Christmas I received Adobe Lightroom 3 (a photo editing program) to go along with my new camera. It just came in the mail this week, so I have been busy playing this evening. It's been fun playing with photos, but I have A LOT to learn!!

4 Months cont.

This post is long over due....but better late then never. Last week Adam had his 4 month appointment. His stats were as follows: 15 1/2 lbs (60%), 26 1/4 inches long (90%), and I don't remember his head circumference but I think it put him in the 25th%. He is growing like a weed!! One of my favorite things that I has come with this big 4 month milestone is a fairly predictable schedule! :) He takes two solid naps during the day - about 1 - 2 hours in the morning, and 2 - 3 hours in the afternoon. He also takes aout a 30 minute catnap in the evening. We had a rough stretch of night sleeping for about three or four days, but now for the last week he has done awesome again. He goes down typically between 8 - 8:30pm and wakes up between 5 -6am to eat, but goes back down until about 7 - 7:30am.

We also started cereal this past week and he is doing really well with this also. Each time he eats, he gets a little more in his mouth and a little less on his bib! Next week we are going to start to introduce a couple different vegetables. He takes a bottle at daycare, but he is still an awesome nurser when I am home with him.

He also has been laughing a lot lately, and a few times we have even gotten the full belly laugh (my personal favorite). He loves to roll from his tummy to back and from his back to tummy. He sits really well with just a little support and really loves putting all sorts of toys in his mouth.

It's amazing how a little person can change so much in such a short time! We love you Adam Louis!!!

4 Months

Owen Robert

Adam Louis

Happy 4 month Birthday my littlest man! Can't believe how much you have grown and changed in the past 4 months! We love you :)
**I will update this weekend with his stats from his doctor's appointment...I am too tired and need to go to sleep.

Sweet Tooth

Over the holidays we found out that Owen has a sweet tooth just like his momma.

Yes, that is frosting all over his face. Each time he put a piece of candyon his gingerbread house, he would "accidentally" run his finger through the frosting...very clever little boy.

My Handsome Boys

Just a few pictures of the boys in their Christmas outfits...

WANTED...

A few of Santa's elves to help us put together all of these toys. Seriously...how can they make these toys so difficult to put together?
The only part of the car that we put together was the steering wheel...luckily that seemed to be enough for Owen :)

Happy New Year

We celebrated New Year's Eve with family at a hotel that had an awesome swimming area for toddlers. Owen had a blast!

I was going to take a picture of Rob and I at midnight; however the last time I remember looking at the clock it said 11:56pm...apparently I couldn't make it the last four minutes. My, oh, my...how things change when you have little ones :)

Christmas 2010

Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, and every year it manages to get better and better, and I am more sad to see it come to an end. From watching the faces on family and friends as they open their gifts, to baking (and eating) cookies, drinking brandy slush, 24 straight hours of A Christmas Story, listening to Christmas music, seeing the lights at Irvine Park, Grandma Margaret's crazy dice game, playing board games, and just being with family....there really isn't anything else like this time of year. Being able to spend so much time with family, reminds me of how blessed we are to have such an amazing family...who I must add, spoiled our children rotten this year :) As much as I have always loved Christmas, I love it even more now that I have children. It was so much fun to see Owen's excitement as he opened gifts this year. He was very good at opening presents, and wanted us to open every gift he received so he could play with it. Unfortunately, he did not understand that a few of the gifts we had to wait to open until we got back at home...which inevitably led to some minor meltdowns. And Adam slept peacefully during all the gift opening :)

We are now back home from all of our holiday celebrations, and reality will set in tomorrow as Owen and Adam both go to daycare (Adam's first day...eek!), and Rob and I go back to work. Where does the time go?
