Two weeks ago I had the week off and was able to enjoy a few days home with the boys. On Tuesday it got into the mid 80s, and boy did we take advantage of it. We got the pool out and had an awesome day outside.

Happy Mother's Day
We had such a wonderful and relaxing Mother's Day this past weekend! We decided last minute to have a little cook out, and it was a lot of fun! My mom was up for the weekend, and we also invited my aunt Cathy and her family over for the evening. We spent the evening playing outside with the kids. Rob picked up some pork chops and stuffed chicken to grill - he did an awesome job :) Then for dessert we had a yummy raspberry cheescake Coldstone cake that Rob had ordered...it was delicious!!

The next day I brought the boys to daycare, and my mom and I treated ourselves to an entire day of scrapbooking. I am proud to announce that I am almost finished documenting Owen's first year, and Adam's scrapbook finally got started :)
I am so blessed to have such an amazing family. Thank you for making it such a great Mother's Day!! Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mother's out there!

8 months
Owen at 8 months
Adam at 8 months

Adam turned 8 months this past Saturday! I feel like he has changed so much in the last month. Here are some of the things that he is up to:
- We have been giving him more and more table foods. He does a really good job finger feeding himself. He seems to like this more that he likes his baby food (I can't blame him either)
- We are introducing the sippy cup - he likes to play with it when there is water in it, but isn't interested in using it in place of one of his bottles.
- Still takes two solid naps and sleeps really well at night. We have completely dropped the nuk, because he never really seemed to use it. He is, however, a huge fan of his blankie, and sucks the corner of it to soothe himself.
- He is constantly on the MOVE!! He switches between crawling on hands and knees, and belly crawling - though he perfers belly crawling.
- He is pulling himself to stand against just about everything. He also has started taking some small steps while against furniture - watch out world!!
- He is very talkative. Just recently we started hearing a lot of dadada, bababa, and gagaga.
- He really enjoys playing in the water - whether it be a pool or the bathtub.
- We found out this month that he is allergic to Amoxicillin.
- Like Owen, Adam loves being outdoors.
Something that people are always commenting on about Adam is that he is such a happy baby. He always flashes flirty little smiles and looks at anyone who is paying attention to him - and he has eyes to die for!
Happy 8 Months to my littlest man!
